Grrr arrg
Just watched Becoming, parts 1 and 2. I've only seen them once before and that was a hell of long time ago. It'd have to be the best Buffy season finale ever. Everyone is awesome, especially Spike. Torture! Spells! Sword Fights! Betrayal! More betrayal! Tragedy! Be still, my heart.

'Graduation Day Parts I and II' is my favourite season finale, but that's because I like Season 3 the best and think that its finale does the best in saying what the season, and the series so far, has been about (ie it fulfils its duty as a season finale the most adequately). However, all the finales in Buffy are amazing, and 'Becoming' is brilliant.

Also, you've made me want to watch Buffy now, which is disastrous, considering A)I don't have my DVDs and B) My computer is broken.

I'm currently rewatching Buffy. I bought Seasons 1 to 6 as they were marked down to $30. I may have a new favourite finale as I rewatch more, I suppose, but I think this one's pretty special. I do love season 3, though. Oh Faith.

Becoming Parts 1 & 2 were some of the earliest Buffy episodes I ever saw (I never saw it on TV), and they were the reason I bought the box set of the entire series. They're still my favourite series finale of Buffy by a long shot. :)
